 WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN A PROFESSIONAL PLANNER

Your wedding will be the most important event of your life, don't trust   it to just anyone!   
You will be working with your planner for a long time, side by side, making decision for your big day. Trusting in them, to help plan your wedding day, and see your vision, is very important. Over all you should feel comfortable with whom ever you choose to be your planner. They will be helping you plan your once in a life time day!

Are they certified, professional wedding planners™?                                     Many planners claim to be professionals however, they are not certified or professionally trained to handle important aspects of your wedding. Ask to see there certification. Some brides had fun planning their own wedding and now think they can plan yours with out any training or experience, causing many things to be overlooked or not handled properly!  With over 20yr experience in the event planning industry and having a certification from the Association of Bridal Consultants, the only organization dedicated exclusively to serving wedding planner’s world wide since 1955. Divine Celebrations consultants are trained to give you the best planners available.

Do they accept commissions or referral fees from any vendors?                 A planner, who does accept a commission from their vendors, causes a vendor to charge YOU more for their services so they are able to pay the commission to the planner! So in reality, you  are actual pay much more for your planner that you know.                             Instead, we recommend when our vendors offer a discount, that they pass it on   to you, our clients.                                                                                                                     **We refer vendors based on their reputation for quality and service.

Are they a full time, full service event company?                                                Many planners use planning wedding as more of a part time hobby not, a business.              You and your event are our full time job. We work for you, not your venue, so you have your event, your way. We are an advocate for you every step of the way.

Do they work alone?
 Many planners try to handle your whole event by themselves, with only one person, causing important things to be left uncompleted or not done to your expectations.                 Your event will have several trained staff members on hand.  We have event teams that work every event, allowing us to take care of the ceremony site and the reception site at the same time. Ensure things are taken care of properly, on time and perfect, just the way you wanted.

The ABC professional bridal consultant will:

*Represent each client fairly and honestly, providing all agreed-to services in a timely and cost efficient manner.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     *establish reasonable and proper fees for services and provide written estimates to each client.                                                                 *Use honest, factual advertising.                                                                                                                                                                                       *Deal with employees and clients fairly, in an unbiased manner.                                                                                                                            *Operate an establishment that is a credit  to the community.                                                                                                                                   *Disclose to clients any payments received from suppliers.

 

HOW DO YOU CHARGE?

I offer services not packages.                                                                                                       We will assist you in building our services into something perfect that fits your needs.

We are certified, professional wedding planners.                                                                     We have over 22yr experience in the event planning industry and have a certification                    from the Association of Bridal Consultants. This will be the most important event of your life,                                                                     don't just trust it to anyone!  

Pricing is based on individual client/event. This will discussed at our initial                     meeting where the scope of our involvement will be analyzed based on your                       needs and desires.
